Bad Behavior (1 cookie)

Bad Behavior is a PHP-based solution for blocking link spam and the robots which deliver it.

Bad Behavior is one of the Internet's most trusted solutions to help prevent link spam and other malicious activity - from renowned sites to the smallest blogs.

Bad Behavior complements other link spam solutions by acting as a gatekeeper, preventing spammers from ever delivering their junk, and in many cases from ever reading our website in the first place. It keeps our site's server load down, makes our site logs cleaner, and can help prevent denial of service attacks caused by spammers.

Besides these our server uses two cookies, one to test your browser's javascript capabilities and a 'regular' (session) cookie so that the site can remember you and your browser can remember our websites.

We hope you will allow the cookies we set, as they help us improve our website.

Zen book on the net

One of the first books about (Rinzai) zen buddhism in the West - published in 1906 - is now available here: http://books.rinzai.dk

It is "Sermons of a Buddhist Abbot" by Shoyen Shaku.

The book is in a brand new page-able form - new CSS technic on the net. So you save money for an ipad or e-book-reader (but you have to use Opera Reader though (Opera is the best browser anyway)).

Please give me comments/critique about how it works.

More forum

I created a new category on zenforum for active members of Buddhistisk Samfund (Buddhist Society (of Denmark)).

The category is not visible for others, so it is a private forum. If you want to participate then create an account in zenforum and send me a PM in which you ask for access.

New zen priest in Denmark

It is with great pleasure that I can announce that Mugen after 1333 days of training now is a Rinzai zen buddhist priest. This is a historic event; she is the first zen buddhist priest educated in Denmark.

Mugen is now authorized to perform (zen) buddhist ceremonies as well as instruct in and lead zazen.

Denko

Sesshin in august moved

- to five days earlier.

We will start Monday August 15 in the afternoon/evening and continue until late morning Tuesday August 23.

Furthermore; this week we will introduce and discuss our new style incorporating dzogchen in our practice.

No excuse

New 'style'

Dear sangha

I am now officially a student of H. E. Kilung Jigme Rinpoche, a Nyingma Lama and Tulku.

H. E. Kilung Jigme Rinpoche

A Dzogchen retrete with him have already radically changed my perspective on buddhistic practice. This means that our style at Egely Monastery and RZBS is going to change a great deal. Much is already changed - come and experience!

We will as soon as possible conduct a 3-day sesshin, where this new style will be presented and discussed. Please let us know if you are interested and, in that case, when it will be possible for you to attend. This retreat is extremely important for our future.

All this is in order to make our way as complete and 'correct' (in regards to Buddhism's fundamental principles) as possible. My highest responsibility is not to 'cheat' any of you.

So: we are egerly awaiting your response.

Denko
